The Escape

European winter is brutal. Southern hemisphere summer is not. The math was simple.

Long enough to not feel like a tourist. Short enough to not get comfortable.

Table Mountain

Became my office view. Worked from cafes with mountain views. Hiked when I needed to think.

What I Learned

Sometimes you need distance to see things clearly. Problems that seemed huge in Berlin felt smaller with an ocean between us.

The Vibe

Different pace. People move slower. Conversations last longer. Something about being at the edge of a continent.
